The CEO of OpenAI Sam Altman showed the Sora tool via his X(Twitter) account. It also showed examples of Sora's creativity created by the caption they collected from the user to test it. But there is also one important announcement they done is that Sora is only available now for the tester team along with designers and some artists.
Sora is the great revolution by OpenAI that they are going to train one model to understand and stimulate physical words in motion. Their goal is that they want to solve the problems of people in real-world interactions.
Also, OpenAI added that Sora can understand the language and enable it to interpret the prompts and generate an excellent character that expresses the perfect emotion. Also, Sora can give us multiple results in a single generated video that contains characters and visuals.
Also, they talked about the safety measures before launching the Sora, They are going to add important safety measures that will include the red teamers collaboration, and we'll have specialists who will be good at spotting fake news, mean stuff, and unfairness. They'll carefully check the model to find any weaknesses it might have.
One thing that OpenAI has added on the concern side is that they’ll be engaging educators, policymakers, and artists from around the world to understand the problems and also find out positive use cases of this technology.
